A: You will receive a Lifetime Membership ID card and a parchment membership certificate and a subscription to Today's Photographer magazine, now published 4 times per year (in print or on-line). You will also have the opportunity to participate in any of the IFPO programs, photo contests, and have your photos be considered for publication in Today's Photographer magazine.

Q: How can IFPO afford to offer one time dues? A: The philosophy behind the "one-time dues" is quite simple. Members of most organizations pay high annual dues to support the total programs of its membership. At IFPO we believe that no member should have to pay for IFPO programs outside their area of interest. Each member may enroll in any of the IFPO programs at anytime he chooses. Each member may also choose not to enroll in any of the additional programs offered without endangering his lifetime membership.

Q: How do I learn about your IFPO Programs? A: All programs are fully explained in issues of Today's Photographer magazine and ON_LINE at http://www.ifpo.net.

Q: What is IFPO's purpose? A: IFPO focuses on the business aspects of photography, specifically how to make money with your camera. Most IFPO programs are geared to starting or expanding a business in photography. IFPO also has a wide range of educational books and videos to help you improve your photographic skills and give valuable shooting tips.

Q: Can a beginning or amateur photographer join IFPO? A: Yes. The IFPO programs are designed to benefit members from beginners to some of the most successful photographers in the world.

Q: What if I'm not a photographer? Some of the programs look useful. A: Many IFPO members are not photographers. Writer's and journalist find the Press Program unparalleled in helping them gain access to controlled events, and many non-photographers have had great success with the Model Consulting Program and the Distributor Program.

Q: I can't remember if I joined IFPO or not. How can I tell if I'm a member? A: You may have received a complimentary issue of Today's Photographer because you ordered one of our books or videos from a magazine ad, or asked for information about IFPO at one time. You can tell if you are a member by looking at the mailing label on your issue. If you are a member, a 5-digit I.D.# will appear above your name. This is your member number.
